Two young men accused of separate murders appeared in court today, Monday, October 27, 2025.
They are 22-year-old Hassan Alessandro Hazell-Grant of Jessamine Avenue, Bayville, St. Michael, and 21-year-old man with Akeeme Livingston McDonald of Lewis Gap, Green Hill, St. Michael.
Hazell-Grant appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court. He was not required to plead to the indictable offences and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds). He is scheduled to reappear on Monday, November 24, 2025.

McDonald appeared before Magistrate Deidre McKenna in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court related to the murder of Kenardo Woolery on October 19, 2025. He was not required to plead to the indictable offence and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds). He is scheduled to reappear on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
