Several students of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus staged a protest, demanding action on what they say are a myriad of challenges that need to be urgently addressed.
The students, who carried placards and chanted, were seen outside the Office of Student Services.
One of the students, who preferred not to speak on camera, tells CBC News their complaints have gone unanswered.
It’s understood the protest was halted after UWI officials intervened with Campus security and members of the Barbados Police Service.
Repeated efforts to get a comment from Campus officials were unsuccessful so far.
