A St. John man has been arrested and charged with firearm-related offences.
He is 34-year-old Lamar Akiel Waithe of Lovell Road, Massiah Street, St. John.
Waithe has been charged with the following offences committed on December 10, 2024:
-Possession of a Firearm
-Possession of Ammunition
He appeared before Magistrate Joyanne Clarke in the District ‘C’ Court located at Oistins Magistrate’s Court complex on Monday, December 16, 2024.
Waithe has been remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds) until Monday, January 13, 2025.
