Barbadians are being warned to be mindful of the immigration enforcement raids being carried out in the United States of America.
The caution comes from Senior Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Kerrie Symmonds, as he addressed hundreds of Barbadians at a town hall meeting in New York, on Saturday.
While acknowledging the significant contribution some Barbadians have made to the US, he warns that they can become targets, whether documented or not. Minister Symmonds says previously, foreign service officers never had such issues to worry about, but now they do.
