The West Indies Breakout League 2025 bowls off later today in Trinidad and Tobago, with the final scheduled for May 10.
The six-team event will begin with the Guyana Rainforest Rangers taking on the Windward Islands Infernos in the opening match at 2 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. clash between the Barbados Pelicans and hosts T&T Legions.
Seventeen games will be played in the competition, with all matches set for the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.
Nyeem Young will lead the Pelicans, whose squad includes Kadeem Alleyne, Joshua Bishop, Leniko Boucher, Shian Brathwaite, Amari Goodridge, Sion Hackett, Zishan Motara, Shaqkere Parris, Demetrius Richards, Nathan Sealy, Ramon Simmonds, Junior Sinclair, and Kevin Wickham.
Following today’s encounter, the Pelicans will face the Infernos on April 29, the Leeward Islands Thunder on April 30, the Jamaica Titans on May 2, and the Rainforest Rangers on May 6.
The eliminator is set for May 9th, with the grand final on May 10.
The Barbados side will be under the guidance of head coach Shirley Clarke, with Andrew Richardson as his assistant.
