Students from Bay Primary, sitting this year’s Barbados Secondary Schools Entrance Exam, are reminded that their best is good enough.
The reminder came from Member of Parliament for St. Michael South, Kirk Humphrey, as he gave a pep talk ahead of their big day next Tuesday.
A number of students say they are nervous, and Mr. Humphrey told them being nervous is par for the course, as he too was nervous when he sat the exam many years ago.
He says some of his nervousness was as a result of not wanting to disappoint his mother.
Mr. Humphrey also promised the children that he will be there to see them go into the examination room, and he will be there at the end of the exam as well.
He also urges the students to be grateful to their teachers for getting them ready for the exam.
