Minister of Educational Transformation Chad Blackman says young people must think beyond traditional qualifications and position themselves as global leaders.
He was speaking at a media launch where Infra under the JADA Group of Companies, announced an initiative to equip students entering first form with free geometry sets.
Mr. Blackman stressed that as the world changes rapidly, young people must focus on skills that prepare them to lead on a global stage.
He said while basic certificates are important, the Ministry wants to ensure that young people are competitive to be global leaders in a changing world.
