The Democratic Labour Party is proposing a programme to redevelop housing communities across the island, which it says can help address the crime problem.
Leader Ralph Thorne claims many of the current housing estates are incubators for crime, with residents facing challenges such as overcrowding and stigma.
The DLP says it wants to change that.
