Minister of Health and Wellness, Senator Lisa Cummins, has announced plans to establish a transformation committee to review Barbados’ healthcare system.
During her remarks on the Appropriation Bill 2026 in the Upper House today, Senator Cummins said the committee will examine the existing system and patient flow.
She also revealed that consultations have already begun, confirming that she has met with stakeholders as part of the process.
