The Barbados Meteorological Services says on the current forecast track, the system is expected to track northeast of Barbados early next week, with no direct threat to the island.
However, the presence of the system in our region will bring light wind speeds, uncomfortably warm days and heat stress into next week.
The BMS says with the possibility for localised showers in the coming days, the public is encouraged to continue monitoring official sources for any Flash Flood Watches or Warnings which may be issued.
