The Athletics Association of Barbados and CIBC Caribbean have announced a historic partnership, which will see Barbadian junior athletes benefit to the tune of $400,000 over the next four years.
The deal, which was officially signed yesterday at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex, is set to be used for the National Junior Programme, launched in January.
The announcement of the Memorandum of Understanding was made by President of the AAB, Noel Lynch.
Director of Corporate and Internal Communications at CIBC Caribbean, Debra King, says the financial institution remains committed to supporting the development of the island’s youth.
