The Guyana Amazon Warriors remain undefeated in the 2026 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League after totally outclassing hosts Antigua and Barbuda Falcons on Sunday at the Vivian Richards Stadium.
Electing to field first, the Warriors quickly bowled out the Falcons for 116 in 17 overs.
Amir Jangoo was the top scorer with 37, while Shamar Joseph took three for 22 and Player of the Match Khary Pierre claimed two for 19.
When the Warriors batted, Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer shared a 99-run third-wicket partnership as they led their team to 121 for three off just 9.5 overs to win by seven wickets.
Hetmyer made 49, with one four and six sixes, while Hope was unbeaten on 47, with two fours and four sixes.
The Warriors are back at the top of the points table on six points, the same as the Falcons and the St Lucia Kings, but with a superior net run rate and three games in hand.
Today is a rest day in the CPL. Tomorrow, the Barbados Tridents, the only other unbeaten team, will take on the Falcons in Antigua.
