Barbados sprinter Kishawna Niles is in tonight’s final of the women’s 100 metres at the World Athletics under-20 Championships in Lima, Peru.
Running out of lane four in semifinal number one last evening, Niles posted a winning time of 11.39 Seconds which is the fastest time going into the final.
That final is set for 7:30 p.m.
Meantime, Barbados middle distance runner Layla Haynes didn’t qualify for the semifinals of the women’s 800 metres, after finishing 6th in heat two.
Haynes’ time was two minutes and 08.39 seconds.
