Team Barbados captured its second medal at the NACAC Senior track and field championships last night in Freeport, Bahamas.
The quartet of DeSean Boyce, Sakena Massiah, Raheem Taitt-Best and Tia-Adana Belle clocked a time of three minutes 20.80 seconds to win bronze in the mixed 4×400 metre relay. Jamaica won gold in three minutes, 11.01.
That bronze adds to the gold won by Belle in the women’s 400 metre hurdles.
Barbados was also up for medals tonight in the men’s 4×100 and 4×400 metre relays.
