Barbados improved to 1-1 at WIFA Women’s

The Barbados senior women’s national football team bounced back from their opening loss to St. Lucia in the 2025 WIFA Women’s Tournament, securing a 2-0 victory over hosts St. Vincent and the Grenadines last evening.

After a goalless first half, the Bajans broke through in the 80th minute with a goal from captain Shanice Stevenson, followed by a second from Acacia Small in the 82nd.

Barbados will be back in action tomorrow at 5 p.m., facing Dominica in their final preliminary match.
