Barbados stays unbeaten in U15s CWI Rising Stars

BARBADOS U15s STAY UNBEATEN IN CWI RISING STAR

Half-centuries from skipper Justin Parris, Seth Smith, and Kelani Clarke led Barbados to their second victory of the Cricket West Indies Rising Stars Under-15s Championship.

Playing today at the Viv Richards Stadium in Antigua, the young Bajan Pride posted 275 in 49.5 overs.

Clarke scored 86 off 90 balls, with eight 4s and one six. Parris made 72, including nine 4s, while Smith hit 55, including five 4s and one six.

Parris came back to lead the bowlers, taking three for 13, restricting the Leewards Under-15s to 105 in 37.1 overs, for Barbados to win by 170 runs.

Liam Sealy also had three for 21 and Jahidi Hinds two for 17.

Clayvonte Powell led the Leewards batting with 64.

The Barbados Under-15s will play their next match on Saturday against the Trinidad and Tobago Under-15s.
