The Barbados teams have been hard at work preparing for the West Indies Women’s Wind Ball Festival.
Some of the players from the Barbados Combined Youth Team and the Bajan Veterans Squad have been going through their paces in both the batting and bowling departments under the guidance of the head coach at Mapp Hill Ground in St. Michael.
Captain of the Barbados Combined Youth Team, Nia Wood, along with two overseas-based players from England who will join the local squads, are confident of doing well.
Coach of the Combined Youth Team and also the Bajan Veterans Squad, Gregory Small, expects the tournament to be very competitive.
