A brutal half century by Larry Babb laid the foundation, as Mark’s Auto Spares Belair Stars defeated Blazers by 17 runs via the DLS method to reach the final of the A&A Autoparts Fusionz Boutique Champion of Champions T20 Tape Ball Tournament.
Babb hit 86 not out in the defending champions total of 175-5.
In reply Blazers chasing a revised target of 152 in 17 overs due to rain, were held to 134-5.
Jazz Griffith led with 43, while they were two wickets apiece for Gary Austin and Javon Grovesnor.
Belair Stars will now meet A&A Strikers on Saturday in the finals, after they beat Blazers by 10 runs in qualifier #2.
Scores: Strikers 183-7; Blazers 173-7.
