Barbadian longboard surfer Noah Campbell is into the quarter-finals of the men’s longboard competition at the Pan American Surfing Games in Guatemala.
Competing in Heat Six of today’s second round, he was second behind Peru’s Sebastien Cardenas, whose winning wave total was 6.27 to Campbell’s 4.30, which allowed him to advance.
Tomorrow, top local female surfer Chelsea Tuach will be in action in Round Two of the women’s shortboard competition.
Team Barbados sits 15th overall with 3,000 points.
