Barbadian surfer Noah Campbell today finished ninth in the men’s longboard competition at the Pan American Surfing Games in Guatemala.
Surfing in the final heat of the quarter-finals, he ended with a wave total of 4.07 to be fourth.
This means Barbados’ last hope of a podium finish rests on the shoulders of our lone female surfer Chelsea Tuach, who is into tomorrow’s second round of the women’s shortboard competition.
She will go in Heat Three.
