Justin Parris took six wickets as Nicholls Baking Combermere dominated Christ Church Foundation on day one of their BCA Schools’ Under-15 Championship semi-final match at Briar Hall.
Sent into bat Foundation was bowled out for 106 in 40 overs.
paris snapped up six for 18, while Asher Brandford top-scored with 26.
In reply Combermere reached 81-1 at stumps, trailing by 25 runs.
Paris is not out on 37.
Meanwhile, in the other semi-final at Lears, the bowlers dominated.
Jayden Payne and Jatarie Hinds took three wickets apiece as St. Leonard’s Boys’ bowled out Milo Lodge for just 49.
Payne finished with three for one and Hinds three for 12.
In reply, St. Leonards were bowled out for just 70, a lead of 21 runs.
Shawnico Sargeant snapped up six for 23 and Jadon Belle four for three.
Batting a second time the Lodge School are 74-3 in their 2nd innings an overall lead of 53.
