Nicholls Baking Combermere has retained the BCA under-15 3-day Cricket Championship title!
Playing on today’s final day at the Rubis Sports Club, it was a nine-wicket win for the boys from Waterford over Milo Lodge.
Resuming their 2nd innings on 76 for three, Lodge was bowled out for 93 – a lead of 77.
Justin Parris took five for 26.
That left Combermere needing 78 runs for victory and they got home on 78 for one.
Parris was also good with the bat ending unbeaten on 49 and Jahidi Hinds 24 not out.
Scores: lodge 97 and 93; Combermere 113 and 78 for one.
