Head coach of the West Indies High Performance Under-19 Women’s Camp, Ryan Austin, says the team is currently assessing the readiness of players ahead of next year’s ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup.
The camp features 22 of the Caribbean’s promising young female cricketers, who are building on their performances at the recently concluded Rising Stars Women’s Under-19 Championship.
Austin says the programme is providing the players with greater exposure to the standards, intensity and expectations associated with progressing to the international level.
