Promotion to World Group 1 in the Davis Cup Tennis Competition is at stake as Barbados battles hosts Colombia starting Friday.
The Bajans, led by non-playing Captain Damien Applewhaite, will be without one of their talisman in veteran Hayden Lewis for the fixture and will be relying heavily on Bajan number 1 Darian King.
The rest of the contingent for the qualifier includes Kaipo Marshall, Stephen Slocombe, and Xavier Lawrence.
The tie is being played on clay and Applewaite says they arrived five days ahead of the fixture to acclimatise.
Barbados is yet to win a tie against the Colombians on clay or hard court surfaces.
The draw will be made tomorrow, with singles matches set for Friday and the doubles and reverse singles on Saturday.
