Another Barbados football administrator has created history, with Tricia Forde being the first Barbadian woman to ever be appointed to a FIFA standing committee.
The Barbados Football Association executive board member has been appointed to the esteemed FIFA Youth Girls’ Competitions Committee for the 2025–2029 term.
Ms. Forde’s appointment to this key football governance position has been confirmed by the FIFA Council, the strategic body that sets the vision for FIFA and global football.
She will represent the voices of both Barbados and the Caribbean region at the global table, using her knowledge and experience to help shape all facets of international youth female football tournaments.
