Barbadian professional footballer Thierry Gale scored his first goal for ‘Rapid Wien’ Sunday to help them snatch a late three-all draw at home against ‘Lask’ at the Allianz Stadium in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Gale, a second-half substitute who joined in the summer transfer window from F.C Dila Gori for a record 1.7 Million dollar fee, produced an impressive stoppage-time header to salvage a point in the 97th minute.
Speaking during a post-match interview, the 21-year-old said he was elated to get on the scoresheet.
