The lights at the YMCA and Emmerton Playing Fields are set to be upgraded.
Word of this from Senior Superintendent of Works at the National Sports Council Nicholas Matthias, during his contribution to the Estimates Debate.
Member of Parliament for the City Corey Lane raised the question, noting that the issue of lights has been a serious one for the community.
Mr. Matthias also says a City gym is on the cards as well.
