Barbadian Peter-Ross Grosvenor won the best guest athlete medal at the recently held Damian Mohammed Powerlifting Classic in Trinidad.
Grosvenor, who competed among 70 participants in the 83 kilograms category, completed eight out of nine lifts, producing several personal best performances.
During an interview with CBC Sports, Grosvenor said he was pleased with his performance, having started the sport only nine months ago.
Grosvenor is also encouraging more Barbadians to get involved in powerlifting.
