Barbadian sprinter Mario Burke has joined the MVP track and field club in Jamaica.
The former junior world bronze medalist will link up with world-class coach Stephen Francis at the home of former Olympic champions Elaine Thompson-Herah and Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce.
Burke, 27 who represented Barbados at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, will be hoping to qualify for this year’s World Athletics Championships in Japan.
Other Barbadian athletes currently training at the MVP club include double World bronze medalist and Commonwealth Games record holder Sada Williams and World Under-20 bronze medalist Kishawna Niles.
