Young cricketers in Barbados are set to benefit from a new partnership between the Barbados Cricket Association and the Student Revolving Loan Fund.
The two entities have joined forces in an agreement valued at $45,000 over the next three years, aimed at creating more pathways for developing talent through the BCA Under-15 competition.
It’s all part of efforts to create more pathways for Barbados’ next generation of cricketers through the BCA Under-15 Competition.
Speaking at the official launch and signing ceremony at Kensington Oval, BCA Vice President Calvin Hope described the tournament as the nursery for future stars.
Senior Manager of Operations at the Student Revolving Loan Fund, Russell King, said the agreement is a major step in advancing cricket development in Barbados.
