It was a devastating performance from pillar to post, as Nostradassa won the 86th Visit Barbados Derby yesterday at the Garrison Savannah.
Trained by Richard Deane and ridden by Jarelle Beckles, the three-year-old filly stopped the clock in two minutes 15.4 seconds over 2,000 metres.
The result means Nostradassa completed the double in the local Triple Crown, after also winning the Barbados Guineas in April.
