There is now a new men’s champion of the Barbados Road Tennis Open Tournament.
Sunday night in the finals at the Wildey Gym, Shakeem Nurse pulled off a straight-sets win over defending champion “Mark Venom” Griffith to secure the twenty thousand dollar top prize.
Additionally, Sheldene Walrond showed her class to take the women’s title and the twenty thousand dollars in the ladies’ final.
