Fresh off her second place finish at the Southwest Airlines Showcase at Cedar Crest in Texas, top Barbados Golfer Emily Odwin is in Peru preparing to represent Barbados in the fourth edition of the Women’s Amateur Latin America 2024 Golf Championships.
Set to tee off tomorrow and run through to Sunday at the Lima Golf Club, Odwin is among 60 of the top Amateur Golfers from South America, Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean, who will compete for the prestigious title and the opportunity to play in three majors in 2025 – the AIG Women’s Open, the Amundi Evian Championship and the Chevron Championship.
Odwin played two practice rounds today before the four round tournament begins.
This event is also the centenary celebration of the Lima Golf Club.
