Barbados Pelicans got off to a losing start in the West Indies Breakout League in Trinidad and Tobago last night.
Sent into bat by the Pelicans, hosts Trinidad & Tobago Legions posted 165-8.
Joshua James scored 39, while Junior Sinclair took 2-17.
The Pelicans were then bundled out for 101 in 19.3 overs, handing the Legions a 64-run victory.
Captain Nyeem Young top scored with 33, while for T&T Johann Layne took two for seven.
Barbados Pelicans’ next match will be against Windward Islands Infernos on Tuesday from 7 p.m.
