The second semi-final of the National Sports Council’s City of Bridgetown Cooperative Credit Union Herman Griffith Primary Schools Cricket Competition was postponed today due to wet and rainy conditions.
West Terrace Tigers and St. Cyprians had taken to the field at Briar Hall with St. Cyprians at the crease after winning the toss.
With the score on nine for one after five overs the rains came, putting a halt to proceedings, and after about a half hour of deliberation after the sun reappeared and the rains came again, the decision was taken to call off the match as the run-up was too slippery.
The two teams will now meet at Lears on Monday to decide who will meet Wesley Hall Juniors in the final slated for December 10.
