Capped off by a clinical performance to win their first ever Under-19 cricket title, Queen’s College athletes were toasted by their school for extraordinary sporting performances to end 2024.
First QC won the Dasani/Powerade Under-13 Barbados Secondary Schools Netball League title after defeating Christ Church Foundation in extra time.
They kept the ball rolling by crushing Harrison College, to take home the Co-operator’s General Insurance Schools Under-19 Basketball crown.
Then in a superb display the Amaze QC cricket team rubber stamped their dominance by defeating Nicholls Baking Combermere in the final of the 40-Over Cricket Competition by six wickets.
Cricket Coach Barry Forde and Acting head of the Physical Education Department Bryan Holder spoke about the achievements.
