It’s official! All-rounder Roston Chase has been named captain of the West Indies Test team.
The announcement was made moments ago on the Cricket West Indies Instagram page.
Cricket West Indies confirmed that the appointment was unanimously approved by the Board of Directors during its meeting held today, May 16, 2025.
The 33-year-old made his Test debut in July 2016 against India at North Sound, Antigua.
He currently averages 26.33 with the bat and has taken 85 wickets in 49 Test matches.
