Barbadian Sada Williams fought off a fast-finishing Tia Clayton to win the 200-metre Saturday night, at Velocity Fest, held at Jamaica College in Kingston.
Running in lane six and representing the MVP Track Club, the 27-year-old clocked a season-best 23.10 seconds.
On the men’s side, two Barbadians Kuron Griffith representing Racers Track Club and Mario Burke of MVP, were fifth and sixth respectively in the 200-metre “A” final.
Griffith finished in 21.20 seconds and Burke clocked 22.16.
That event was won by Jamaican Oblique Seville in 20.53 seconds.
