Sports Minister explains stadium delay

Sports Minister Charles Griffith says the delay in the construction of the National Statium is no fault of Government.

He says the contractor provided by the Chinese is responsible for both the demolition and construction and as soon as one is identified by China, the team will be on the island to work.

The Minister also noted he is set to work alongside the Barbados Olympic Association to create a four-year plan, where athletes will be geared to excel at the regional and international levels.
