Aragorn Straker was fifth in his semi-final heat of the men’s 200 metres at the World Athletics under-20 Championships in Lima Peru.
His finishing time last night was 21.30 seconds, making him miss out on a place in the final.
Meanwhile, after a personal best time of 13.71 seconds that saw her advance to the semi-finals, Maya Rollins, unfortunately, did not make it to the final of the women’s 100-metre hurdles, as she finished 8th in her semi-heat in a time of 13.96.
And Brieanna Boyce also competed in the 100 metres hurdles, but unfortunately did not advance out of this morning’s first round.
She was seventh in her heat in a time of 14.17.
