Surfer of the Year Tournament Makes Waves at Bathsheba

For a third consecutive year, top Barbados surfers Chelsea Tuach and Josh Burke dominated their respective divisions of the Barbados Surfing Association’s Surfer of the Year event, held recently at the Soup Bowl in Bathsheba.

Tuach won the Women’s Open division, ahead of her national teammate Chelsea Roett and Ava Banfield, who was also the winner of the Under-18 Girls category.

Our Ann Marie Burke takes a look at some of the men’s action, including that dominant win from Josh Burke in the Open division.
