Joshua Burke was the standout surfer for Barbados, as he is in the third round of the men’s competition at the ISA World Surf Games in El Salvador.
Competing at the La Bocana venue on day three of the action, Josh booked a place in the third round after he had a second-place finish in his heat with a wave total of 13. It was not so lucky for Tommasso Layson as he now joins Rafe Gooding in the Men’s Repechage 2, hoping to fight their way back into the main draw.
On Sunday, Gooding finished fourth in his second round heat after posting a total of 6.24. While in Monday’s action, Layson was third in his heat with a 12.9.
