Three of Barbados Football Association’s national coaches have successfully completed the FIFA Coach Educators’ Development Pathway.
National Senior Men’s Head Coach and Head of Coaching Education Kent Hall, National Senior Men’s Assistant Coach Marlon Harte, and National Senior Women’s Head Coach Kerry Trotman have all finished the final phase of the intensive two-year FIFA program, which grants them international recognition as FIFA-accredited coach educators.
Hall described the program as a major step forward, involving a blend of e-learning, virtual group work, in-person training, and personalised mentoring.
He contends the knowledge and skills gained through the initiative will greatly enhance the quality of coaching education delivered to local football coaches.
Hall and Trotman will additionally be heading to Guatemala next month with BFA Technical Director Sulaiman Nunes for the 2nd CONCACAF Coach Education Conference.
