Tia Adana-Belle has advanced to the semi-finals of the Women’s 400 Metre Hurdles at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, after competing in the opening round last night, Barbados time.
Running in Heat 2, Belle was sixth in a time of 55.27 seconds, which made her one of the four non-automatic qualifiers.
Belle will be in Semi-final 2, running out of lane two at 8:11 a.m. on Wednesday Barbados time.
