Tough going at Junior Pan Am Games

Only one swimmer, Jaiya Simmons, was in the pool on Thursday at the Junior Pan American Games in Paraguay.

Simmons was 7th in heat one of the Women’s 200-Metre individual medley in two minutes 33.61, for 23rd overall.

On Wednesday in squash, Alex Stewart and Darien Benn lost to Joao Santos and Murilo Penteado of Brazil in the Men’s Doubles Quarterfinals 2-1, 7-11, 11-7 and 9-11.

Then, in the Mixed Doubles, Aidan Parris and Sarrayah Yearwood went down  1-11, 4-11 to Paula Rivero and Segundo Portabales of Argentina in the quarterfinals.
