Two records fell on the final night of the Barbados National Championships at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex.
United States-based Tia-Adana Belle, representing Quantum Leap, lowered the meet record in the women’s 400 metre hurdles, clocking 54.77 seconds.
The old mark, which Belle set back in 2019, was 55.89 seconds.
Meanwhile, Krystal Bentham of Talons Track and Field Club was the other record breaker in the 200 metres.
