(CNN) — Viral breakdancer Raygun, announcing that she will retire and no longer compete following backlash over her Paris Olympics performance. The 37-year-old was mocked online and in the mainstream media for everything from her moves to her green official team kit.

“It’s been really upsetting. I just didn’t have any control over how people saw me or who I was,” she said about the retirement.

It comes in the wake of backlash and ridicule over her performance at the Paris Olympics. She said she’s retiring in an interview with a Sydney radio station.

Rachel Gunn was mocked online after she got zero points for her performance at the Olympics in August, which went viral.

She said it’s been upsetting and she didn’t have any control over how people saw her.
