It was a celebration with a unique flair, as NAPSAC girls’ champions, West Terrace Primary, set up a Walk of Fame today to honour athletes’ performances in 2026.
Students formed two rows leading to the colourful structure, which was decorated with orange and blue balloons.
Athletes then displayed their agility, as some walked, skipped and flipped to the delight of their peers.
The school’s mascot was also on hand, along with soca artiste Tionne Hernandez and Jordan English, making an appearance.
The Husbands, St. James institution, took the NAPSAC girls’ division with a total of 157 points, 36 points ahead of Hilda Skeene on 121.
In the boys’ division, West Terrace placed third with 112.5 points, behind champions Blackman and Gollop with 161.
Prior to the finals, West Terrace dominated the Patsy Callender Zone, where they were double-crown champions.
Physical Education teacher Roderick Harmon says it was a complete community effort.
