Mia Amor Mottley has been sworn in for a second term as Barbados’ Prime Minister after she led the BLP to a second historic clean sweep in yesterday’s general election.
Mere hours after capturing all 30 seats, Prime Minister Mottley took the Oath of Office at State House before President Her Excellency The Most Honorable Dame Sandra Mason, in the presence of family, well-wishers and fellow successful candidates.
While expressing thanks to Barbados and the Party’s campaign manager, Ms. Mottley says her Government is humbled by the confidence placed in it by Barbadians.
