Windies Captain & Vice register tons on day #3

Centuries from Captain Kraigg Brathwaite and Vice Captain Jermaine Blackwood put the West Indies in a promising position against England on day three of the 2nd apex Test.

Resuming at Kensington Oval on 77-1, the Windies reached 288-4 at stumps, to trail by 219 runs on first innings.

Brathwaite slammed his 10th test century and is unbeaten on 109, while Blackwood brought up his third test ton before he was dismissed lbw to Dan Lawrence for 102. His knock included 11 4’s.

The pair put on a 183 run partnership for the fourth wicket.

Meanwhile, England bowler Mark Wood has been ruled out of the remainder of the test series against the West Indies and the upcoming Indian Premier League due to an elbow injury.
